I am a registered and qualified Osteopath, with an expertise in racquet sport injuries.

Experience in Sport
I have played table tennis for 21 years and have competed at a national level in England. In that time I have used my knowledge to overcome many injuries myself. With the knowledge of my degree and the experience in table tennis, I therefore feel I have a speciality in treating racket sports injuries.

Welcome

I use a combination of hands on techniques such as:
-Soft tissue technique
-Deep tissue technique
-Mobilisations
-Muscle energy technique
-Passive stretching
-Adjustment techniques
I also think it is necessary to use exercises in order to fully recover from any injury.
These include:
-Isometrics
-Concentric
-Self Mobilisations
-Stretching
I will prescribe 2-3 exercises maximum per session as I understand we all lead busy lives. Research also shows that giving anything more than 3 exercises reduce the overall chances of compliance.Little and often is the motto, small daily exercises will lead to the overall best outcome.
